As I sit here, at 7:48 am, listening to Christmas music, waiting for my family to get their lazy asses out of bed, I can't help but think how lucky I am. How happy I am. How content I am.
This last year has brought it's share of challenges, but I've persevered and made it through. Next year will likely be the same, but the end result is worth the extra effort. To see the light in my wee man's eyes the morning he wakes up and it's moving day is going to be priceless.
I am healthy. I have a roof over my head. I have a huge, wonderful, loving family. I am fortunate to have gifts under my tree.
Most importantly, I have Chris and Andrew. The two most important men in my life.
Ooh! I heard a clatter!!!
