Shannon's Blog: August 18, 2012 :)

What a beautiful day for a wedding!!!! In spite of a few very "Shannon and Chris" moments, the day was absolutely perfect! I was, of course, a blubbering mess. Actually, I was perfectly fine, until my sister Kelli decided to make me cry! And as soon as I got those first tears in my eyes, that was it. Andrew grabbed my hand, and patted my arm, and said, "You can do this, Mommy" and as we walked down the aisle, I cried and cried. And as soon as I took one look at my husband-to-be, I cried even more. Andrew walked me to my mom, and she took my hand, wiped my tears, and told me to stop crying. I did, and she walked me over to Chris... And the rest is basically a blur! The whole ceremony was a blur! Except... When we went to exchange rings, and he forgot mine (my mother-in-law had to run inside to get it), and I dropped his on the ground! That was the ULTIMATE Shannon & Chris moment! Shannon being clumsy and Chris being forgetful. Together, we do incredible things! :P

The rest of the evening was amazing. Lots of visiting, huigs, kisses, laughter, dancing, and pictures. Too many pictures, in my opinion, but we can't have it all. Wait, I worded that wrong. Too many people taking pictures!!! There was a reason I got a photographer... Ugh... Anyway... Speaking of pictures, here are a few that my father-in-law took. He did a wonderful job!! I can't wait to see the ones my photographers took! :D
