3. Describe your relationship with your parents.

Been awhile since I continued on with my list...  I'm in the mood for writing today, so I decided to pick up where I left off!

Although...  I'm not particularly fond of this question, simply because I don't know how to answer it.  I love my parents very, VERY much.  I can say that...  I mean, sometimes love just isn't enough, though, right?  So, let me see if I can get this out.

Mom - I love my mom.  She's honestly one of the strongest women I know.  She's been through so much (a lot of it because of her own bad decisions, but we all make bad decisions) and she's come through.  My relationship with her...  Is texting.  Sad, right?  But, when we do get together, it's always nice.  It just...  is.  I wish I could say my mom is one of my best friends.  I wish I felt like I could talk to her about anything.  I wish we had a better different relationship than what we do.

Dad - I love my dad.  He's been absent a lot of my adult life.  But that's because I've let him be absent.  I was just tired of being disappointed by him, so I dropped him out of my life.  It was a good thing, though, because we have a closer relationship now that I don't rely on him, if that makes sense.  I don't talk to my dad often, only through Facebook, but I love him.

Notice how I just LOVE my parents?  Honestly...  There's really no relationship there.  There's isn't.  But I love them, nonetheless.
