As always, start off my blog post with a song. Well, at least that seems to be the norm. Maybe I usually end my blog post with a song. Anyway, regardless, this song is for my prince charming, Andrew. I love you, my son!
I've never hidden the fact that my son is the most important person in my life. No one else comes before him, not even me. My child is the most important job I have, the most inspirational piece of artwork I have ever created. He is... Just everything I could ask for in a son, and then more. I would do anything (within reason) for my child.
It hurts me to see him hurting. And when he's hurting, I want to do anything in my power to release the pain that he's feeling. Even if that means feeling some pain myself. Pain only lasts a short time; but a child's smile lasts a lifetime. I still remember the first time my little boy smiled at me. We were living in Leoville at the time. We were laying on my bed together. And I was staring at him, basking in all of his amazingness. And he smiled. That little Andrew smile. It was that exact moment that I knew I would do anything, ANYTHING, to see that smile on his face. He is my little prince.
Family is forever, man. Family is all that matters. In the end, that's all you'll have left.
