Someone's caught the cooking bug!

Today is a wonderful Mommy day!  My boy should be at school...  But we're having a stay-at-home day.  Well, he's also got a couple appointments.  Didn't think sending him to school between appointments seemed logical, and it's nice to be able to just hang out sometimes!

Anyway, my son approached me last week and has decided he wants to be a chef when he grows up (so far, this dream has lasted about four days - a record so far).  He decided, himself, that the first thing he wants to learn to cook in macaroni salad, one of his favorite foods.  

So, we got back from appointment number one, and said, LET'S DO IT!

So he chopped up the pickles while I cut the ham and cheese.  Once the water was boiling, he poured the macaroni into the water and stirred it up.  Once cooked, we let the macaroni cool and put all the ingredients together, and voila!  Andrew's first meal was made!

Anyway, the macaroni salad is delicious, and I can't wait for supper tonight!  BBQ deer sausage and Andrew's macaroni salad :)
