At Christmas...

Well, this past weekend was Christmas with the Cote Family.  It was lovely, a great time was had by most.  I say most, because there seemed to be one person in particular who was having an awful time, but I will not name names just in case that person happens to read this (no, it's not Chris, my fiance).

The following song always gives me chills and reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas.  It's from 1997, and by, who else, Hanson.  I was HEAVILY into Hanson in 1997.  I was going to marry Zac.  Of course, he's married with children himself now, so I guess that dream is shot.  LOL!

Snow is falling down as you step out of your car
Presents in your arms and you’ve traveled far
Someone opens the door with a smile on their face
And you know you’ve come to the right place
Family nestled by the fire
Christmas hopes to inspire
Loved ones by your side
You know you’ll kiss your babies goodnight

At Christmas, Christmas
No matter who you are
How far you've come
This is where you belong
At Christmas

Memories ‘round the Christmas tree
Are the sweetest ones that remain with me
It’s a comfort deep inside
Though you can’t stop the race of time
To know that Christmas will always be

Family nestled by the fire
Christmas hopes will be inspired
Loved ones by your side
You know you’ll kiss your baby good night

Well can't you feel the changing, the anticipation
Can you tell we're almost there
Well precious time we're takin, memories we're making
It's Christmas in the air

Now this is what Christmas means to me
Being together with your family
And the wise men who followed that star
To where our baby Jesus lie

Family nestled all around
Baby Jesus asleep so sound
His star shined so bright
On the very first holy night

Please enjoy these couple of pictures.  I will have a family picture hopefully very soon.  My sister has to send it to me, as we only took one on her camera.  So hopefully get that up soon!

My beautiful parents.  I love you so much! <3

My nephews and son.  Aren't they adorable?

Manny on the left.  I've known him since he was three.  Now he's 19.  Alex is on the right.  I remember when he was born.

My boy crashed out on our way home after the eventful weekend.  He wrapped himself up in my sweater.
