Thanksgiving

Well, hello!  After a 4-day absence, I am back.  Don't worry, I know I was missed, so you don't need to vocalize how much you missed me.
This Thanksgiving weekend was, for lack of a better word, wonderful.
My bebe got a sliver in his back at daycare on Friday, and we couldn't get it out!  I ended up calling his grandparents to see if they could drive us to the doctor to get it out.  They did, the doctor got it out, but not without quite a bit of screaming, big crocodile tears, and an almost broken finger (geez, that boy is strong!).  The sliver was about half an inch long and decently thick!  It definitely wasn't tiny.  I'm glad I took him in that night, because who knows what would have happened.  Maybe it would have went in deeper, got infected, or something like that.
Saturday flew by.  Shopping at Costco and banking are always fun!  Hahaha!  NOT.  I blew almost $400 at Costco.  If you have a Costco card, you will know how easy that is.  I went to my mother-in-laws for supper, and, of course, it was delicious, and I ate too much.  We didn't stay too late because we were all tired from getting up early and eating so much food!
Sunday I made Thanksgiving dinner for my family.  I think this is the first Thanksgiving we have ever spent together since I have been with Chris.  It was absolutely lovely.  Kelli took Andrew out for an hour to Ruckers.  Mom came over and helped us cook.  Not that there was much to do.  We all had a great time and a great visit, and ACTUALLY got a family picture!!!  I am pretty sure we don't have one!  The last one we have, I was pregnant with Andrew.  Six years ago.  Hahaha!  SO old!
So I am going to have to get it developed.  I would like to get a frame that has like 2 5X7's or something like that, one for Chris' family, and one for mine.  I think that would be awesome :)
I love this one, the camera flashed, so Andrew walked away, then we saw the light starting to blink again, so we all yelled at Andrew to get back in.  Haha, action shot!
Anyway, Thanksgiving was wonderful.  Yesterday we just chilled out.  Went swimming.  Well, the boys did, I went for a walk on the treadmill.
Needless to say, a lot of family time, a lot of turkey.  Right now, all I am thankful for is that I get some time alone.  And there is no turkey for supper tonight :)
